Vacations Points Timeshare
Does the system point in the timeshare bad way to save money for a vacation?
If someone could please explain the point system (using ike diamond resorts) Why good or bad. I have heard why the usual timeshare bad, but it seems a different point system. Anyone with personal experience would be great.
Point system is created because the resort where running out of things to sell. If they notaries can only sell their week 50 weeks per unit. Clearly that puts the lid on how much the resort can make. With the points there are no limits to how many points they can sell because the point is fictitious and has no value compared to the physical deeded week. Usually they have a set amount determined they could sell in the resort but docs are usually always claim that they can increase that amount. Fun part is you can use points at many resorts, especially if you are talking Wyndham, Diamond, or even the DVC. It will give you more flexibility. If you are looking at places as a way to Timeshare I suggest saving for a vacation savings account and rent a timeshare. I am renting timeshares couple times a year and loved it. I usually pay $ 500 to $ 1,000 depending on what I am going to resort. I would suggest you rent a timeshare a few times and see if this is something you want to then buy.
