Is it normal to pay "fees Realty" to use a real estate agent associated with large firms?
This must be paid by the buyer (me) at the close of escrow ($ 395 is what I was quoted). This adds to 3% must be paid by the seller. He came from a Prudential agent California Realty. Is this common? Anyone heard of this before?
REALTORS try this all the time and call it a manager or treatment. unless agreed in the contract of agency Wrting buyer then tell them to forget. can not simply add a tax that you have never accepted in writing. This is a technique for real estate agents with many buyers are now trying to earn some extra money. inexperienced buyers to stay with this all the time. I wonder why Realtors have a bad reputation?
