Does anyone know where I and a friend could not find a good site and cheaper to stay in the camp in Utah for 2 days?

Me and my best friend, make a road trip to Utah to visit friends and just having fun. We intend to stay Aug. 31 through Sept. 4. We want to be a camp near Provo and Salt Lake for a few days because they want to stay with her aunt and aunt's house for more than 1 day each. We thought it would be fun to stay in a campground and a camp for a few days. However, all two do not want to spend much money and would love to find a cheap camping, but for the night.
