How do I get rid of the name of my ex-boyfriend of my timeshare?
My husband bought a timeshare in early 2000 and ex-boyfriend-name still in the works. He paid half the monthly payment for the first month 3-4 and stopped to give further contributions for the last few years. Now that the time share is fully paid, he wanted to remove his name from the deed. Is it possible? If so, how are we going to do that in California have? We avoid all this his year as he was a difficult to handle for. Thanks for your help.
You will need a quitclaim deed from his signing of shares to him. Perhaps you can use a lawyer as intermediary to contact him. I agree with the poster who said it may cost you some money - good. lesson to learn here to be careful who you use any deed.
