Near Lake
What is a town in Maine near the lake and mountains?
For a story I wrote, I needed a small town in Maine near a mountain and lake or river. It is more cold, very snowy winter, and humid in the spring and summer. A small town, please, near the desert. I think a model for what I'm looking for is Forks, Washington. That is almost in accordance with, the snowy-profile cloudy, rainy, desert ... Although it should be in Maine, near the Canadian border and more ... Thank love!
I think you describe the entire state even though the mountain is more in the middle of this country. As happened in the West Forks Fork and hamlets that almost meets the criteria You, but it was in the middle of the country. Try Jackman, Eagle Lake or Canton if you want color Sugarloaf Mountain ski area.
